Living Waters Phuket Foundation – Building Brighter Futures

Weekly Highlights:

Our emergency food relief life bag donations continue to be fulfilled weekly; however, we are optimistic to reach a time when we hope they will no longer be needed.

Having successfully completed several varied projects over the last few months, we are now able to use this experience gained towards building a brighter post-pandemic future.

Our Back to School Projects have been essential in getting children into education; some of our projects so far have funded the supply of uniforms, books, and even Covid-19 test kits to children who would otherwise be excluded from schooling.

In addition, the Foundation is looking at ways to improve learning experiences. This may be as simple as supplying clean drinking water, (one of our completed projects for a school on Coconut Island), improving sanitation or replacing badly leaking infrastructures, etc. Others have been more complex initiatives such as supplying equipment for a computer lab, (the one we completed with a Kamala School), and plan to repeat in Koh Samui; or building a storeroom and shop for pupils of Kathu Wittaya School so they can learn the principals of sustainable farming and grow to produce to harvest and sell.

These are just a very few examples of where we hope to build on our experience of successful projects going forward.

We continue to support people in need of staple food supplies, many of whom are without work, if you would like to DONATE towards this cause, please click here: Weeboon (one life bag costs just 140 THB and can feed a family of 4 people for up to 4 days).
