Emergency Covid Life Bags

The Emergency Covid Life Bags project, started in 2020 by 5 Star Marine had already been running for 22 months throughout the Pandemic before LWPF took over raising awareness and funds for this food relief effort.

As of May 2022, these life bags have been packed, distributed and donated for over 2 years, with 5 Star Marine having dedicated their time and energy by providing continuous support to those in need throughout the crisis.

This devoted effort saw over 1 million life bags go out to disadvantaged and underprivileged communities around Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui, Phang Nga, Koh Lipe, Koh Yao Islands, and further. Often strategically planned when areas were struck with major isolation or community lockdowns plus the previous lack of tourism due to entry restrictions.

With eased entry measures and an anticipation that Thailand will benefit from more tourists and lower reported cases, the necessity for emergency life bags naturally coming to an end at this point.

The Living Waters Phuket Foundation will continue to concentrate its efforts on more diverse and critical community efforts across Thailand. As a registered Thai Foundation and US charity with Equivalency Determination (ED) certification, all donations to LWPF for community projects are fully transparent, plus you can receive a receipt for your donation, making it tax deductible.
